Get Out Of That Rut Now!

When you get stuck in a rut it's sometimes really hard to pull yourself out of it. Motivation starts to lack. Negative & toxic thoughts creep in. Maybe you want to stay in bed more & not get up as early as you normally would. Maybe you just start sailing through things not giving anything you do your all. Whatever it is that happens when you're feeling like you're stuck in that darn rut, read on and you'll discover my top 5 tips for really getting up and kicking it after feeling like... Well... Meh.

Just Get Up & Do It
As much as this sounds like the last possible thing that you would ever want do to when you're just not feeling life and you're stuck in a rut, this is probably the most important tip. Just get up! Get out of bed and get that washing done. Get off the couch and get your daily tasks done. Even if you can't be bothered at that point in time, even if it's the last thing you want to do. Once you've done it you've done it (obviously). It's probably something you'll have to do later anyway with a million other things that add up when you just don't do them.

Take Some Time For Yourself
Taking time out and having a little time to yourself is a great way to feel better about yourself and intern feel better about life in general. This means something different to everyone. For me it's having a pamper day and feeling primped from head to toe. For you it might be finding a quiet corner with a nice book and a candle flickering in the backround. Whatever it is that relaxes you and makes you feel good.

Rethink Your Goals & Future
It's so easy sometimes in life to get lost, get off track and forget where you are and where you want to be in the future. Sit down and write down those goals, visualise where you want your life to go and configure ways to get yourself there. Make a inspiration board with photos of goals, things and anything you want in life (this is my absolute favourite tool to use and keep myself motivated daily) Keep your inspiration board in a place you'll see multiple times a day. Sitting down and really thinking about what you want, thinking about the future will get you pumped up and reinspired about living.

Get Organised In Every Aspect
Writing lists. Yes write stuff down. Budget your money on paper, write that shopping list. I seriously could go on for days and days about lists (yes really) but you get the gist. Get a diary or agenda and stick to using it daily. Clean out that clutter in your house and what I mean by that is getting rid of things you don't use/need. Don't leave things sitting out on the floor or on the couch, everything should have a home. I cannot stress enough how much these steps will clear your mind and make you feel like a weight is lifted off you.

Just Live Life
Smile more & make an effort to be positive, spend more time with the ones you love, get what you need to do done & do what you want and live for you. Truly live life and not just be alive. The world is yours and it's there for the taking. It's just up to you now...

Love always,
Louise xoxo.

I feel like this is going to be the longest blog post you will ever read ever in your life. I never had the urge to tell my story until last night, I was lying in bed thinking about my past and I felt like I needed to get it all out.
If you're like me and you've over come something massive in your life...
Looking back now or even thinking back, the years kind of blur together. Even looking back at it all now, doesn't feel real to me.
This isn't really where the journey of it all began because ever since I can remember (early teens) i've always had a bad relationship but body image and eating.
This is just where the years of true restricting began...
I was 17 years old. I had just became a qualified makeup artistry. Moved back to Rotorua (where I grew up and family lived). Got into a relationship and scored my dream job. Sounds great right?! I didn't know …

Nail Salon Review : Coco Banana Rotorua

So... Today myself and Laura went to a new nail salon to have a wee pamper. Coco Banana is located on Tutanekai steet in the heart of Rotoruas CBD. I thought i'd come on here and share abit about my experience today.

Customer Service:
We were greeted with a smile. We didn't make an appointment (our bad) but they luckily could take us straight through anyway. The communication and understanding of what we wanted was super clear and everything we asked for we got. Even without asking I was looking at the bunny bag charms and she opened the cubboard for me to have a closer look.

I am a crazy person when it comes to this. Especially when it comes to nails and especially with all the horror stories i've heard. The floor was clean and vacumed. The displays had no dust or finger prints. The chairs were spotless. The tools were clean and even though they were clean I saw the girl using alcohol to wipe everything down anyway.

This place is abit of me. I love it. So…
